<description>Wednesday 05th April 2006 ( 09:24:33 PM ) On sunday April 2nd 2006 ATA member Peter Wurschy broke the old Dutch National record in Dynamic Apnea with fins, till then held by ATA member Glenn Venghaus (137 meter bi-fins),  with a distance of 146 meter.This was done in a 25 meter pool in Heemstede using a monofin. A video of this dive will be available soon in the video section.Big congratulations to Peter with this great acomplishment. Next goal 150 meter ! </description>

<title>ATA member performs in "Wedden Dat" TV show</title>

<description>Monday 28th November 2005 ( 09:55:34 AM ) On nov 27th one member of Apnea Team Amsterdam, Peter Wurschy will perform in a popular TV show called "Wedden Dat". The show is formed around several spectacular bets. Peter will try to win a bet together with Sanne Buurman from team Sharkbait and several members of a scuba club. The bet will be successful, when Peter and Sanne are able to stay underwater in a car at the bottom of a pool, while skindivers try and fill attached underwater balloons with air from their lungs until the car floats. This has to be done within 4 minutes.

The show will air on Dutch television on Thursday 8th dec 2005.  A complete coverage including photo and video footage will be available on this site after the show airs.

The attempts will start under the watchfull eyes of NFDB / AIDA judge Pim Vemeulen at 20:00hr at the following location :

Visitors are more then welkom as is the press (limited and only after registration via mail to ata@glennvenghaus.com)

The team is called Apnea Team Amsterdam and consists of

The website will inform you of the adventures and activities of ATA as wel as akt as an information base for freediving in general.
